What is this?

PurdyCulture is a blog about energetically downshifting our global human culture into one that can coexist harmoniously with other cultures and the non-living environment for a long time. The key concepts *coughbuzzwordscough* are Sustainability, Permaculture, Social Justice and Energy Descent.

My name is Bennett Purdy. I'm from Ithaca, NY. I am a certified Permaculture Designer. My life goal is to help power a cultural shift towards a more conscious, responsible society.
